Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Registration & Coverage

Eligibility for Warranty

Warranty is applicable only on purchases made through authorized Neendmattress dealers or the official website (neendmattress.com).

 To claim warranty benefits, it’s essential to register your product with us. This can be done with the assistance of our authorized dealer at the time of purchase.

For any queries or help regarding registration, please contact our representative at +91 9108187855, available Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Once registered, you will receive a digital e-Warranty card (no signature required). Please retain this card along with your original purchase invoice, as both are mandatory for any warranty claims.

2. Warranty Limitations

The warranty is strictly applicable to issues concerning the mattress core, including problems like sagging, crumbling, or natural deterioration.
The following are not covered under warranty:

  • Damage to external parts such as fabric tears, stains, fading, discoloration, burn marks, pilling, or bobbling due to use.
  • Surface depressions of up to 15 mm for mattresses with thickness up to 125 mm, and 37 mm for thicker variants, which are considered normal usage signs.
  • Warranty becomes void if the original structure or design of the mattress is altered or modified.
  • Any damages arising from improper usage or failure to follow the care instructions provided at the time of purchase.
  • Any concerns not specifically mentioned in this policy will not be entertained under warranty.

The final authority to determine whether a product qualifies for warranty lies solely with Neendmattress.

3. Warranty Claim & Settlement Process

For Claims Within the First Year

If a valid defect is reported during the first 12 months after purchase, the company will provide a replacement mattress of the same model and dimensions.
If the original model has been upgraded or is no longer in production, the customer may opt for a newer model by paying the price difference.

Note: No promotional offers or discounts will be applicable on warranty replacements or upgrades.

For Claims After the First Year

From the second year onward, pro-rata terms apply to calculate the Warranty Settlement Value (WSV), as detailed in the warranty card.

  • The invoice amount at the time of original purchase will be considered for WSV.
  • If the invoice is unavailable, the company may accept the claim at its discretion, using the MRP minus 10% (as applicable on the purchase date) for WSV calculation.
  • The customer can choose to replace the product with the same model or upgrade to a better version by paying the price difference, calculated over the WSV. Ongoing promotions will not apply.

The company will manage the replacement or upgrade process, while its logistics partner will handle both the delivery of the new product and the return of the defective mattress.

Warranty policies are subject to revision at the discretion of the company without prior notice.

All warranty-related legal matters are subject to jurisdiction in Bangalore.

4. Mattress Use & Maintenance Guidelines

When you first begin using your new mattress, it might feel different from your old one. Allow a few weeks for both your body and the mattress to adapt. It’s natural for the mattress to gradually soften in areas of regular use.

Normal Body Impressions

  • Impressions of up to 15 mm (for mattresses up to 125 mm thick) or 37 mm (for thicker models) are not considered defects and occur as part of the natural settling process.
  • Regular rotation is advised to maintain comfort and longevity:
    • Every 2 weeks for the first 4 months
    • Every 3 months afterward
    • Avoid rotating if the mattress has a designated “head/foot” direction

Bed & Support Recommendations

  • Ensure the bed frame matches the mattress size to avoid edge damage.
  • A well-ventilated and supportive base is essential. Improper or uneven support may void the warranty.
  • Slatted frames must have a center support leg or strong middle beam.

Handling & Protection Tips

  • Do not bend, fold, or drag the mattress.
  • Avoid standing or jumping on the mattress surface.
  • Use a waterproof mattress protector to prevent stains or moisture-related damage.
  • Remove the plastic packaging only after placing the mattress in the room, as it is meant for transit protection.
  • For storage beds, always remove the mattress before accessing storage to prevent damage.
  • Refrain from sitting repeatedly on the same edge, especially while watching TV, to maintain shape.
  • Keep the mattress away from excessive moisture, heat, or humidity.

For infants or toddlers, we suggest using an additional moisture barrier or liquid-resistant sheet. New mattresses may take 2–3 days to expand fully after being unpacked. Dimensional tolerance is allowed up to ±12 mm.
